Hey,

Okay. I will -at least- try to be direct and to-the-point while I am using this blog: I hate Statistics. It is not because it is said to be hard, and a lot of mathematics. I do love mathematics, and I do not think Statistics is hard. We humans are intrinsically Statisticians. [1] However, there is something that I do not feel comfortable with Statistics. It is really not nice to play around with some data sets. I do not know. Maybe I just got bored of my Applied Statistics homework, and…. Wait. I created this blog minutes ago, and I admit that it has a lot to do with getting-bored-of-my-Applied-Statistics-homework. However, I was already planning to create a blog to communicate some stuff with Internet wanderers. In this manner, Statistics can be said to trigger me to create this blog. Okay, I think I am making it long, so just proceed to next paragraph where I tell the story about “Autoregression”.

Actually, there is not much a story. I was asked to pick up a blog name, and the first word that came to my mind was Autoregression. I was just reading a passage about Autoregression, that’s why it was the first. Otherwise, I am not a freak thinking of some Statistics terminology all day long.

During this blog I will be trying to communicate my ideas on various topics. I plan this blog to be an e-diary, recommendation / criticism / review corner. {Unfortunately, there might appear some posts on Statistiscs, such as Monty Hall problem.}

I will be posting in a few minutes. See you on the next post!!!

[1] I would recommend the book called “How to Lie with Statistics” by Darrel Huff to those who want to go deeper in human nature and its tendancy to use Statistics in daily life. One confess here: I started this book, and read about 8-10 pages. I am not very into reading books. The recommendation is based on the fancy and yet quite interesting title of the book.
